Off to dads house

We are getting ready to go to Dads house for Thanksgiving and it already has been a trip. My sister called and said they could not make it until Thursday night, so dad gets his shorts in a tivey. I mentioned to make Thanksgiving on Friday and he thought I shot the bird right then and there. Well, after much thinking instead of eating in shirts when people come in we are going to eat on Friday. It is a long drive for us 16 hours just for 3 days, but I LOVE my dad and since we won't get to go for Christmas I want to see him for Thanksgiving. I have learned take any oppurtunity to see family when ever you can.

I spent the day with Kris we had a good time. I did not get to see her new house since i needed to get back to the house to pick up the boys from school. It is touch since it is a 1 hour or more depends on traffic each way.
I got a new Bind- it- all so I got some O-wire at the junkie. I only spent 19.00 I was very proud of myself. I am keeping our spending on the low before Birthdays and christmas hit.

Happy Thanksgiving see you next week.

WOW I figured it out

Yes, I can change my background. I still not sure if I like it, but let's give a day or two.
I am still working on my scrap room it is coming together slowly. I have to fight with a huge weight bench in the middle it will not fit out the doorway or it would have been out of there!
Steve is gone today so that means the boys and i will be eating out. Yeah!! no cooking. I got 2 16# turkeys yeasterday for a whooping $6.00 pays to shop at the same store all the time.

Well off to get into more stuff, fun fun!

I do miss talking to my Chi5 sistas, but I know they are busy and i am thinking of them!!

HELLO it is Friday!

I am so happy it is Friday! I am so tired by Thursday night I fall asleep on the couch at 9 pm. I painted my scraproom and now the shelves will have to go up and I can start stuffing it with my scrap stuff. I copied a scraproom that was in Keepsakes magazine. It had IKEA shelves and stuff you would use in the kitchen and it works! I am such a copy cat, but it works for me.
I got a estimate to fix our pool decking (short story DH did it!) It will be $9,000 to repair it. What do you think he will do???? Want to bet money on it :) He always has these ideas and thinks he can do it, which then in return it costs us triple to fix his mistakes! MEN!
My sister has decided to go to my dads for Thanksgiving so it will be nice to see her and the kids. Then we decided to go skiing for Christmas in January, but now the neighbors want to come too, then the other neighbor does with her 2 kids??? Steve wants to know when did this become a neighborhood get together in Denver???? Sometimes things take a hold of themselves and grow. He is not a person for crowds, especially when we have to share a bathroom with 10 other people. Again, we will see where this goes.

Off to find some studs (in the wall you dirty minds LOL)

Where does time go? I have been over on Facebook so that takes up some time, then over to scrapjammies, and then surfing and POOF! days are gone and it is November. I am looking forward to Thanksgiving since we are going to Lincoln to visit my dad and brother. We won't make it home for Christmas since last year was the drive of all blizzards we went through. Kansas and Okalahoma our least favorite states to drive through summer or winter!
Football is finished so we are not doing much. I love it when we are busy, but sometimes I can't find my head. Now we are sitting at 6 since it is so dark out and now the chilly air has set in 60's seem chilly to me now.
I have started a new book "Look me in the eye" about a man that has had Asperger's and nvever knew it until he was a adult. It makes me so sad that I didn't know Tyler had it until 5th grade and even then I have had a hard time dealing with it. He is who he is and i can't change it, but just feel bad that he can't make friends. Moving all the time didn't help, but again it is what it is "I GUESS". I wish I had one ounce of his motivation and smarts! He will be something great when he grows up. If anyone has a child with Autism (any for a the specturm) this book is a must read!
Well better get off the kids will be home in 5 minutes or less.
Happy Monday :)
