It is almost school time! I think it is so exciting ,but sad that it is another year they start and closer to leaving the roost!
Tyler and Jack are in High school and Payton starts 6th grade, which is it's own school.
Summer went by fast and we tried to make the best of everything. We traveled most of the summer and it was great! I love to travel and finally got Steve to go somewhere besides the United States. I feel now he is more open to it since it was a good first time out. The kids are older and more on their own so we don't have to worry as much also.

I can't believe the summer is half over and the kids are getting school letters already. We have track camp for the next 2 weeks and then football camp. It is so hot they start at 8am to beat the heat.

We had a blast in Aruba and for families it is a great place to go. Then we headed for Seaworld and Frio river. Payton got to finally get to hold a penguin his face said it all. The Frio was so low it was hard to tube, but we did it anyway :) The water was so clear you could see about 8 feet down to the bottom ans still see your feet. The hills are beautiful and at 102 that day it did not seem that hot. Steve got burned the worst and still hurting a couples days later.

I am leaving on Thursday for Denver with the girls to scrap. I am looking forward to it! Then home a week and off to dad's house for the last hurray of the summer. I haven't seem him since March so looking forward to spending some time with him.

WOW! it had been a while since i have been over here. Well now I will have 2 in High school and one at the 6Th grade campus. Where did the time go and when did I have have 3 children that are heading for adulthood ;)
Tyler got his first car and Steve was sooo proud he got a great car at a great deal for him. Now jack is looking for a ob since he knows how much cars cost and what crap is out there.
Then we had our first accident of the summer. Jack broke one wrist and sprained his other trying to make a flying leap off a tree (that is just Jack). I thought his friends mom was going to have a heart attack. I said I should put a sticky note on Jack "Watch out does stuff without thinking!" He will be fine, but puts a little less fun into our Aruba trip.
We have not seen rain here for over 5 weeks and it is getting bad. The kids are worried about the 4th of July they will ban them all if this keeps up. We are planning a big crab boil and no fireworks would be just no fun. I love the 4th! I am hoping to keep up with this a little more in the months to come so stay with me:)

Field Day!

Went to Paytons field day at school. It was fun watching the 50 yard dash and the water ballon toss. I have to go back up at 2 to finish watching the finals. The school year is ending and I am relieved for sure.
Tyler last night got the citizanship award at school. We are very proud of him.

Well we had a good time yesterday Tyler got his license, which then proceeded to almost kill us by running into a truck!! He will not be driving alone on the streets for a while for sure. He needs some more of me yelling at him when he does something wrong.
I can't believe I have a 16 year old where did the time go and how did I get here? I remember when I turned 16 my mom looked worn out, do I??? She even had a 5 year old to boot NOT ME!!!
Our bathroom is finally done and I am so done with home improvement. It is funny you are all for it when you start and then a month goes by and you think what have I gotten myself into, but it is done and I love it.
Off to Sam's the boys ate everything in the house REALLY!

HAPPY 16th BIRTHDAY TYLER!!!! I can't believe it has been 16 years it was one of the best days of my life. Tyler you have been a pure joy with all the up and downs, but we did them together with many more to come. I love YOU!!!!
We are off the get his license this afternoon next step in life!

KIDS!!!!

I want to ask sometimes "Why do we have them?" When they are little they give us hugs and kisses, we are their world. Then they turn into TEENAGERS with hate, know it all, love you one minute, stab you in the back another. Where do we go wrong in those years of 8-12 WHERE!!!

If I live through this I should get a badge of honor, every mother should!!

Bathrrom is almost complete. We are having trouble with the tops, but hopfully that will be resolved soon.

Off to gets some scrap stuff so it is a happy day.
